Wet Timing Belts
Not all Timing Belts are the same - some newer vehicles (including the new VW Transporter T7, Ford Transit or Peugeot/Citroen/Vauxhall engines) use what's known as a Wet Timing Belt. Unlike traditional belts, this runs inside the engine, submerged in Oil. While helping to reduce noise and wear, this does come with it's own set of maintenance needs!
