VW Audi Group Number Plates - Darwen

There are some strict rules regarding number plates that have been set by the DVLA, and car owners can face fines if they are in breach of these.

Here are some examples of offending number plates:

• The digits are obscured due to dirt, paint, or other markings
• The number plate is damaged, or badly cracked
• Regulation fonts and sizes have not been met
• Incorrect spacing of the digits
• The digits themselves have been altered
• Front and rear number plates are the incorrect colour for the age of the vehicle

If your number plates need more than just a clean, the simple solution is to seek assistance from a professional garage such as Lodge Bank Garage in Darwen who will be able to provide replacements that match the specifications of your vehicle and also adhere to the regulations. We will also be pleased to fit the new plates for you.

Please note: in order for us to issue you new licence plates, you will need various forms for proof of ID and vehicle ownership. You can check these out on the DVLA website. If in doubt, please give Lodge Bank Garage a call.
